Our story

From a single chair to a house of artists.

Maison Aurelle opened in 2014 as a single chair in a sunlit loft on Greene Street. Our founder had spent a decade backstage at fashion weeks in London, Paris and Milan, and wanted to bring that level of precision to everyday hair, without the rush.

Word spread quietly. Today the house is a small team of master artists, each leading in their own discipline, and each still working the way we began: one guest at a time, for as long as the work requires.

There is no house style to follow, only yours. Hair that suits your face, your texture and your life, and grows out as beautifully as it looks on the first day.
